My Cricut Craft Room 100 Cartridge Blog Hop

Welcome to My Cricut Craft Room's 100 Cartridge Blog Hop

You should have come from..... Heather S at http://operationcricutdesign.blogspot.com/
If you did not please start at the begining of the hop at
http://mycricutcraftroom.blogspot.com/

The cartridges I chose for this hop were Elegant Edges, Sweet Tooth Boxes and Jolly Holidays. I wanted to have a cartridge that I also used on all of them so I chose a circle cut on Cricut Essentials cartridge and encorporated it into my designs.

Elegant Edges:

This card is perfect for Halloween! I just love all the fun colors!

Recipe:
Elegant Edges
Cricut Essentials
My Minds Eye Blackbird Paper
Black Cardstock
White Gel Pen
White Ink Pad
Stamps from Michaels $1 bin - both vampire and sentiment
ATG gun

Jolly Holidays

I bought Jolly Holidays on Black Friday last year and had yet to open it so I am glad that I chose it for this hop. It is becoming one of my favorites rather quickly!
Recipe:
 Jolly Holidays Cricut Cartridge
Cricut Essentials
Basic Grey Jovial snowman paper (my favorite- its so cute!)
Red, White & Black Cardstock
White Gel Pen
Twine from The Twinery (the best twine!)
Sentiment is from the Craft Lounge Snowy Sayings Stamp Set (says Skating by to say hi!)
Martha Stewart Black Ink Pad
I used a red pen to give the snowman rosy red cheeks.

Sweet Tooth Boxes:
This is one of my newest cartridges so I have been playing with it a lot. I made these boxes to deliver bars of Scentsy in when I sell it. I thought it would be a cute way to say thank you and enjoy! I am going to wrap the box in tulle and tie it at the top in a bow but I didnt have the right color to do so yet!

Recipe:
Sweet Tooth Boxes Cartridge
Cricut Essentials Cartridge
My Minds Eye Blackbird Paper
Orange Cardstock
Black Martha Stewart Pen
Ribbon was $1 in a bin at Walmart

I hope you enjoyed what I made! I think I will use all these cartridges a lot in the next couple of months!

My Pink Stamper Design Team Call Submission!

**If you are looking for the Christmas in July Blog Hop post please scroll down! **

Robyn from My Pink Stamper is having a design team call and this time I am going to try out. I am nervous and excited at the same time. The first time I ever visited a site to learn about the Cricut, it was her site that I visited. I love all the tutorials she has on the Cricut and she also has her own line of really cute stamps! If you haven't heard of her or would like to learn more about her stamps or your Cricut machine, please visit her site at MyPinkStamper.com.

In order to get picked for her design team, you have to do the following;

Challenge: Make a card, scrapbook page, or other Cricut project with your favorite Cricut cartridge using the following colors......

Orange
Turquoise
Green
Brown
(other optional color of your choice)... I chose Pink because it is my favorite!

For this challenge I chose to use my new Sweet Tooth Boxes Cartridge and I wanted to make a cupcake box because I thought it was adorable. I also wanted to show through this challenge that I am not afraid of trying new things. Usually I like to watch tutorials on how to make detailed projects like this but since it is a new cartridge I just made it on my own. The best part of the project is that an actual cupcake will fit inside the cupcake box. Such a cute idea for a birthday party!

Here is what I made:

Recipe:

My Expression 2
Cricut Projects Sweet Tooth Boxes Cartridge - Cupcake cut at 8"
DCWV the Celebration Stack polka dot paper
Chatterbox Chocolate Tweed Paper
American Crafts Ribbon
Scrap Pink Paper
Studio G Sweet Clear Stamps
(used sentiments I love cupcakes & Have your cake and eat it too)
White Gel Pen
Martha Stewart blank ink pad

I hope you love my project as much as I do. My dream design team would be to be on My Pink Stampers. Robyn is so sweet and I love the stamps that she produces!
Wish me luck! I know that I will be praying that I make it!

Love Holly
