Birthday Card

Today our design team is doing one last project and we were asked to create a Birthday card that will be posted on Kassidys blog Inking It Up Crazy. I have had so much fun on this design team and am sad that our time is up! I have made lifelong crafty friends that I will someday (hopefully) meet! Thank you Kassidy for choosing me to be on your design team. What an amazing group of ladies it is made up of!

Here is the card that I made:

Recipe:

Simply Charmed
Cricut Essentials
My Minds Eye Hip Hooray Boy Surprise Paper
Misc white, red, blue cardstock
American Crafts Ribbon
White and black gel pen
Recollections button dimensional sticker
Atg gun
Action Wobble

The party hat is on an Action Wobble so it wiggles back and forth.

Hope you like it!

My Pink Stamper Design Team Call Submission!

**If you are looking for the Christmas in July Blog Hop post please scroll down! **

Robyn from My Pink Stamper is having a design team call and this time I am going to try out. I am nervous and excited at the same time. The first time I ever visited a site to learn about the Cricut, it was her site that I visited. I love all the tutorials she has on the Cricut and she also has her own line of really cute stamps! If you haven't heard of her or would like to learn more about her stamps or your Cricut machine, please visit her site at MyPinkStamper.com.

In order to get picked for her design team, you have to do the following;

Challenge: Make a card, scrapbook page, or other Cricut project with your favorite Cricut cartridge using the following colors......

Orange
Turquoise
Green
Brown
(other optional color of your choice)... I chose Pink because it is my favorite!

For this challenge I chose to use my new Sweet Tooth Boxes Cartridge and I wanted to make a cupcake box because I thought it was adorable. I also wanted to show through this challenge that I am not afraid of trying new things. Usually I like to watch tutorials on how to make detailed projects like this but since it is a new cartridge I just made it on my own. The best part of the project is that an actual cupcake will fit inside the cupcake box. Such a cute idea for a birthday party!

Here is what I made:

Recipe:

My Expression 2
Cricut Projects Sweet Tooth Boxes Cartridge - Cupcake cut at 8"
DCWV the Celebration Stack polka dot paper
Chatterbox Chocolate Tweed Paper
American Crafts Ribbon
Scrap Pink Paper
Studio G Sweet Clear Stamps
(used sentiments I love cupcakes & Have your cake and eat it too)
White Gel Pen
Martha Stewart blank ink pad

I hope you love my project as much as I do. My dream design team would be to be on My Pink Stampers. Robyn is so sweet and I love the stamps that she produces!
Wish me luck! I know that I will be praying that I make it!
