My Cricut Craft Room - Card Creating Tuesday

Today is Card Creating Tuesday at My Cricut Craft Room. I am so excited to be on this design team, it keeps me busy and inspired!

Today I made a ghost card. Since school is almost starting, it reminds me that Halloween is just around the corner which makes me excited. I love all the fall/Halloween colors so it gets me excited to craft!

I used my new Elegant Edges Cricut Cartridge for this card, it is quickly becoming my favorite cartridge.  It adds the perfect touch to every card that I create.

Here is my cute ghost card!

I found a cute ghost stamp in the dollar bins at Michaels which inspired the whole card!

Recipe:

Elegant Edges Cricut Cartridge - cut at 4.5 inches
My Minds Eye Blackbird Paper
Black Cardstock - Card cut at 6x6 (I like to make bigger cards)
Ghost stamp - Michaels
Martha Stewart Ink
Scraps of Echo Park paper and My Minds Eye paper for the ghosts
Sentiment is from Hero Arts Anyone Can Stamp set
Misc Buttons
Twine from the Twinery (the best twine ever)
My trusty pink ATG gun

I love this card so much! It gets me in the Halloween spirit and it makes me smile whenever I look at it.  I hope you like it too!

Love Always - Holly

My Cricut Craft Room First Design Team Post - Theme Thursday Imaginisce Happy Camper

Today I made my first project for my new design team My Cricut Craft Room
I am so blessed to be on this new design team and I see great things in store for the next couple of months as I work on new and exciting projects/challenges.

If you visit My Cricut Craft Room you will notice that every day has a theme. Todays them is Theme Thursday and the theme is Imaginisce's new line Happy Camper.  I love this line, in fact I won this line in a giveaway from Imaginisce. It is full of cute animals, trees and all things camping. I am going to use it to scrapbook our camping memories because the paper is  so amazing.  One thing I like to challenge myself with though is to use the paper in a line in a less obvious way then it was intended.  Happy Camper has some of the most amazing patterned paper on the flip side of all the cute graphics.  So I challenged myself to use the patterns instead of the graphic sides of the page. This is what I came up with.

Recipe:
Cricut Elegant Edges
Brown and White Core'dinations Cardstock
Imaginisce Happy Camper green plaid, white polka dot and brown polka dot paper
Imaginisce Happy Camper cardstock smore cutouts
Martha Stewart Alphabet stamps
Paper Smooches love sentiment
White Gel Pen
American Crafts Yellow Ribbon
Atg gun
Modge Podge
Misc Cardboard
Twine from the Twinery

For the card I cut a 12x12 piece of white cardstock in half and then folded it in half to make a 6x6 card.
Brown Cardstock was cut as a 6x6 square.
Green paper cut at 5.5 inches
Polka Dot Paper cut at 5 inches
Brown Polka Dot paper was cut at 4 inches. It is the first cut on page 46 of Elegant Edges Cricut Cartridge.
I made a twine covered heart by taking a piece of cardboard and cutting out a heart. I covered the heart in modge podge and wound the Twinery twine around it to cover the heart. It turned out great!

I hope you love this project as much as I do. There will be many s'more to come in the future. :)

Love Always!
Holly
