My Cricut Craft Room First Design Team Post - Theme Thursday Imaginisce Happy Camper

Today I made my first project for my new design team My Cricut Craft Room
I am so blessed to be on this new design team and I see great things in store for the next couple of months as I work on new and exciting projects/challenges.

If you visit My Cricut Craft Room you will notice that every day has a theme. Todays them is Theme Thursday and the theme is Imaginisce's new line Happy Camper.  I love this line, in fact I won this line in a giveaway from Imaginisce. It is full of cute animals, trees and all things camping. I am going to use it to scrapbook our camping memories because the paper is  so amazing.  One thing I like to challenge myself with though is to use the paper in a line in a less obvious way then it was intended.  Happy Camper has some of the most amazing patterned paper on the flip side of all the cute graphics.  So I challenged myself to use the patterns instead of the graphic sides of the page. This is what I came up with.

Recipe:
Cricut Elegant Edges
Brown and White Core'dinations Cardstock
Imaginisce Happy Camper green plaid, white polka dot and brown polka dot paper
Imaginisce Happy Camper cardstock smore cutouts
Martha Stewart Alphabet stamps
Paper Smooches love sentiment
White Gel Pen
American Crafts Yellow Ribbon
Atg gun
Modge Podge
Misc Cardboard
Twine from the Twinery

For the card I cut a 12x12 piece of white cardstock in half and then folded it in half to make a 6x6 card.
Brown Cardstock was cut as a 6x6 square.
Green paper cut at 5.5 inches
Polka Dot Paper cut at 5 inches
Brown Polka Dot paper was cut at 4 inches. It is the first cut on page 46 of Elegant Edges Cricut Cartridge.
I made a twine covered heart by taking a piece of cardboard and cutting out a heart. I covered the heart in modge podge and wound the Twinery twine around it to cover the heart. It turned out great!

I hope you love this project as much as I do. There will be many s'more to come in the future. :)

Love Always!
Holly

You make such cute paper crafts!!! I seem to be drawn to your style. The one thing that I enjoy about your projects is that the eyes find a place to 'rest' on your cards - I heard that is a sign of a good paper crafter.....:O)

Wow! Just found your blog, Holly, and I must say, you are quite the paper crafting talent! I always loved the idea of scrapbooking and making cards and the like, but I am truly uncreative when it come to it. I'm hoping to find inspiration with all these gorgeous ideas! Thank you!
